Prevention Education Programs
Our education department philosophy is to provide prevention and continuous education to the community, about the impact that domestic violence and sexual assault has on our lives. Our education programs are conducted in a manner that meets the needs of various ages, genders, organizations and professions.
For our community members, programs are offered to various organizations, groups and businesses. Topics include but not limited to: domestic violence, sexual assault, Women’s Center Services, intervention strategies, sexual harassment and violence in the workplace. These programs are adaptable to meet every organizations’ needs.
Another important part of our education department is our services to children. As educators, we feel that prevention is always a key when dealing with many of the issues, which face our children, in today’s society. We offer our prevention services in a non-offensive way, to help children of all ages understand the impact of violence. We also offer healthy alternatives to violence when these unsafe situations occur.
Teen Pregnancy Prevention
With parental permission CSON will provide any youth (male/female) with an unsurpassed educational experience emphasizing abstinence within the realm of sexual experimentation.
Teen Parenting
Parenting Services will be provided to any youth that is currently expecting or has recently given birth to or fathering a child, with state accredited curriculum facilitated by a community based provider.
Tutoring
Tutoring services will be provided by state/certified teachers. Participant will be individually assessed for their educational needs, personality and learning style before matching them with the perfect tutor. Age tutored are Kindergarten through college.
